The ladies of Peace gather monthly for a time of food and fellowship.

Peace’s choir rehearses each Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall during our program year (September through May) and sings every Sunday during that period.

We worship every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Services follow traditional Lutheran liturgy with confession and forgiveness, lessons, sermon, profession of faith, and communion. Music varies from favorite old hymns, modern hymns, and contemporary, accompanied by organ, piano, or guitar and drums as appropriate. Our worship services are also livestreamed at YouTube.com/@PeaceLutheranSpringfield if you are unable to join us in person for any reason. We receive Holy Communion every week. All who believe in the presence of Christ in the bread and wine…

Little Lambs meet for a faith formation (i.e. “Sunday School”) for approximately half an hour during our morning worship service. Following the children’s sermon during the worship service, children will go to their Little Lambs class. They will return to worship around the time of the offering to be present for Holy Communion.

Table Talk is an adult faith formation activity that meets in the Three Strands Room following the morning worship service. Table Talk is a 20-30-minute process for becoming aware of God’s presence and the Spirit’s movement by listening and reflecting on Scripture as a gathered community. It forms faith and trust within a group by sharing responses to three questions: what do I notice, what do I wonder, and where might God’s Spirit be nudging us?

The Springfield Philatelic Society meets on the third Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in our Fellowship Hall.

Our congregation’s Women of the ELCA has two circles that meet monthly for Bible study, fellowship, and fun. One circle meets on the fourth Monday of the month at 5:30 p.m., and the other meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 1:00 p.m. Join whichever circle best suits your schedule for the month!

The Congregation Council meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall to conduct the business of our congregation and oversee its ministry. The Council acts on behalf of the disciples of the congregation, who elect eight people to serve alongside the pastor.
