We worship every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Services follow traditional Lutheran liturgy with confession and forgiveness, lessons, sermon, profession of faith, and communion. Music varies from favorite old hymns, modern hymns, and contemporary, accompanied by organ, piano, or guitar and drums as appropriate.
This week’s service includes our children’s Christmas pageant.
Our worship services are also livestreamed at YouTube.com/@PeaceLutheranSpringfield if you are unable to join us in person for any reason.
We receive Holy Communion every week. All who believe in the presence of Christ in the bread and wine are invited to receive communion, and all are welcome to come forward for a blessing.
All parts of the worship service are displayed on screens. Most music comes from our hymnal, Evangelical Lutheran Worship, which is available for use if you like to sing with music, but it is not necessary.
Please dress as you are comfortable. Some people wear their “Sunday best,” while others wear jeans and a hoodie.
A play area is available in the lobby for young children with windows and audio allowing you to still be part of worship.
Following worship every Sunday is a time of coffee, snacks, and fellowship.
