Megan joined Peace as office manager in January 2026. She was born and raised in Springfield and has a fine art degree in ceramics from Bradley University, where she focused on creating large, figurative sculpture out of clay. She is also skilled at throwing on a potter’s wheel. She spent several years serving the community with the Springfield Art Association.
Her personal passion projects include an extensive pollinator garden in her front yard to feed the birds and bugs. Flowers and native plants bring her joy and help her feel at home in the world. She loves exploring trails out in the woods while foraging for wild mushrooms.
She also works downtown on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Salt Fork Food Works on Adams Street. This space connects local farmers directly to our community and provides them a year-round indoor market to sell their produce and animal products.
