STAYING CONNECTED DURING COVID-19
Dear Siblings in Christ,
We are about to enter into the holiest week of the year for Christians world-wide. This Sunday you can worship with your church family by tuning into Peace Lutheran’s YouTube channel or watch for the service to be posted on Peace Lutheran’s Facebook page. A number of you have sent in short video clips for Palm Sunday which we will include in the service. Thank you!
Next week we will post a Maundy Thursday service at 7pm on April 9 and a Good Friday service on April 10 at 7pm. I hope you will take time to join us for worship. It’s not like you’re going to be out doing anything else, right?! 😊
I have heard from some members who are feeling pretty isolated and are missing seeing familiar faces from church. As a way to help us stay connected I’ve begun a weekly Zoom meeting for anyone who would like to join in for conversation and mutual support in these challenging days. If you are interested in joining our weekly Zoom conversation, email me and I will send you a link. This coming week we will be gathering via Zoom on Wednesday at 1pm.
I encourage us all to continue holding our church family in prayer. Though we are not able to be together in these days of the Covic-19 pandemic, we are never-the-less connected via our baptism…which means we are never really alone!
If you have a special pastoral need or concern, please call me. My cell #920-671-4338.
God’s Abundant Peace,
Pastor Mary
